First Baptist Church Callaway

On Sunday January 8th at 11 a.m. Pastor Jessie gave an informative presentation about the construction progress and what happens after Cosco finishes their part. Unfortunately it did not get streamed nor recorded as intended. So here is a summary:

Phase 2: Cosco Contact
- Cosco should finish in the next couple of months.
- The only interior portion of their contract was to demo the fellowship hall and level the floor with the rest of the building. That is done.
- On the exterior remove brick. That is done.
- Replace windows. That is done.
- Install new doors and awnings. That is done.
- Replace sidewalks. Almost complete.
- Install new brick wainscot. That is being scheduled.
- Install EFIS and paint. That will begin after brick is done.
- Close in eaves. That will happen quickly after EFIS installation.

Phase 3: FBC Callaway
- Save money. We need to build our reserve and we need money for the material. Our financial reserves will be depleted when Cosco is finished.
- We need to complete the demo in the hallway and in the kitchen.
- We need to make the new electrical panel operational.
- We then need to decide what room we want to start remodeling first.
